Amid 2014 FIFA World Cup debates, clashes and controversies, Australian midfielder Mark Bresciano made something really beautiful, which will definitely remain in the Mundial history.
Minutes before the start of Chile-Australia game, which will later end in a 3-1 defeat for Bresciano and his teammates, the footballer was pictured tying the shoelaces of a mascot on crutches.
The touching photo made social media explode with positive reactions. Fox Sports News even claimed it "might be the enduring image of #WorldCup"
When the 34-year-old player was later asked to comment on the gesture, he said modestly that every dad would do the same in his place.
