The BET Awards will hold on Sunday, 29th June 2014 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The BET Awards will be taking place as part of the BET Experience that starts on
the 27th of June and ends with the Awards ceremony on the 29th.
Some of the biggest artists around the world – including our very own Tiwa Savage and Ice Prince – have been chosen to perform at the BET Experience as part of the ‘Music Around The Globe’ presentation that will take place on Saturday Afternoon presented by Coca-Cola.
Tiwa Savage is one of Nigeria’s top female artists who recently won the MTV Africa Music Award for ‘Best Female.’ Mafikizolo, the South African Afro-pop duo also took home the MAMA Award for ‘Best Group. Ghanian Hip Hop artist, Sarkodie also took home the MAMA Award for ‘Best Hip Hop’. They have also all been nominated for BET Awards ‘Best International Act: Africa’.
This will be Tiwa Savage’s and Mafikizolo’s first time performing in the United States. Ice Prince, who won the 2013 Award for ‘Best International Act:Africa’ will perform as well as present the award to this year’s winner.
We can’t wait to see what they will bring to the table.
