A lot of the time, a good girl finds herself drawn to that man who is everything she is not! As a matter of fact, her opposite! What is he thinking?: Mystery keeps a woman coming back! When a woman can’t predict what a guy is thinking or his next action, they become more intrigued. They want to stay to the end of the show to know how the story ends. Yes, bad boys are unpredictable and mysterious.
Blurred realities: Let us think of the typical action movie. Very attractive, womanising, bad boy hero finally finds love as he saves the damsel in distress from the villain. Talk about fairy tales; even cartoons aren’t left out of this. After seeing several movies like this, women begin to get even more drawn to bad boys who they hope will change from their magic touch.
Sexy confidence: If there is one trait that both men and women find attractive, it is confidence! Most bad guys exude charisma and confidence which is a magnet for women. They are more comfortable with a man who has a good carriage and charisma.
Good looks and charm!: Of course good guys are good looking too but bad guys take more time and put in more effort to look dashing. I mean who goes hunting without bait? Guess what? Women find this irresistible.
Come Alive!: Excitement, spontaneity, fun, free! All these words can be found in the bad boy vocabulary. Sometimes women crave something different from their regular lifestyle; they feel a need to temporarily let go sometimes and let their alter ego take over and this is where the bad guys come in!
Win the trophy: Women don’t like men who are pushovers. They also don’t like men who they can see coming a mile away. They’d rather have that man all other girls want. They would feel a sense of satisfaction in being the winner of the prized gift even though we do know that most times, there are several winners. Givers and Takers: Women naturally feel the need to give care, to nurture, to cater for. They are general givers of attention and needs. A bad boy on the other hand is a receiver! He is on the receiving end. He is naturally a taker and accepts this care with hands wide open, which motivates the woman to do more.
Save me: When a woman is in distress she would love her man to show up and play superman. Most bad guys happen to be up to the task. No woman would want a guy who would get beaten up without a fight. Women enjoy the hero syndrome.
Whatever the reason women may seem to prefer ‘bad’ guys, everyone should know that they may get burnt if they play with fire and burns aren’t exactly pleasant. So rather than get hurt eventually, avoiding it seems a safer alternative!
