Ebonyi state House of Assembly on Friday morning served an impeachment notice on governor of the state, Martin Elechi over what it described as act of gross misconduct.
Reading the notice at the session, the acting leader of the House, Francis Nwifruru accused Elechi of huge financial misappropriation, undermining of the integrity of the House, among other offences. The motion for him to be served the notice was moved by Odefa Obasi Odefa and seconded by Valentine Okike.
